Description
Powdered electrolyte formula for oral rehydration and introducing milk formula to neonates. Use for all orphaned mammals. Net wt. 200 grams. Oral use only.
Do NOT USE for more than 48 hours; do not mix with formula.

Mixing and Feeding Guidelines
Mix 1 teaspoon (4 grams) into 3 ounces of warm (approximately 100°F or 37.7°C) water. Feed solution to provide approximately 40 mL of solution per kg bodyweight daily, divided into several feedings.

I've just started using this along with the formula for baby opossums in the last two years, and have not lost a single joey since adding the electrolytes to the diluted formula. We're talking 15 g babies here, and they all survived. Just ordered a new packet for the upcoming baby season. THANK YOU!!

Electro-stat is a unique rehydration formula in that it can be added to milk replacer formulas without creating a precipitate (lumps!). It's a powder so you can make only what you need and don't have large bottles going to waste.

I never know what condition baby squirrels brought to me will be in. Electrolytes are must have. Powdered form is so convenient to have long term over Pedialyte.

I use this when first receiving bottle kittens to start formula and also when weaning. It's not a scientific experiment in a lab, but have had ZERO issues with diarrhea or anything since using this paired with the probiotics.
