Perishable - Freeze on arrival!
One bag contains enough Hazelnut Blocks to feed an average-sized adult squirrel for one month. Blocks contain no preservatives or fillers and must be kept frozen.
Adult Squirrels: Feed 2-3 blocks per day.
Flying Squirrels, Adolescent Squirrels, Rats, and Mice: Feed 1 - 1 1/2 blocks per day.
Blocks can be kept in the freezer for up to 6 months, but the blocks will begin to lose flavor after the first 3 months.
Ensure the bag is firmly resealed after each opening - exposure to air can lead to freezer burn.
To serve blocks thawed, a few blocks can be taken from the freezer and kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

My squirrel's name is Scuddle an adult Grey. He came to us when he was 3.5 wks. old, eyes still closed. His mommy kicked him out of the nest because he was very dehydrated and having seizures due to low calcium. Fortunately, after much research we were able to save him. He is now 2yrs. old, happy and healthy and a very big part of our lives. Your Squirrel blocks became a big part of his healthy daily diet. We alternate the different flavors so that he doesn't get tired of one kind. He loves them all and so do we. I would however like to see just a little bit more calcium in each one because it is difficult to maintain a diet providing 500mg. of calcium daily. Like humans he isn't always in the mood for the veggies and other foods that give him this (just food for thought and research). Otherwise, we are very satisfied with your products and delivery time. Keep up the good work!
I get one pack a month and the wild squirrels that I feed outside love them. They consider them a treat
it came earlier then expected the squirrels im fostering love it thank you!
