Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts warm water and feed 4 to 6 times per day. To determine the correct amount, see the guidelines below. When puppies are 3 to 4 weeks old, add puppy food to formula to make a thin gruel. Wean puppies completely when they are 6 to 8 weeks old.

• Add powder to warm water  (approximately 100°F or 37.7°C).
• Blend until powder is evenly mixed.
• Place in refrigerator for approximately 8 hours to fully reconstitute.
• Mixing directions based on volume, not weight measurements.
• Store any leftover formula in refrigerator and feed within 24 hours.

Unused formula powder should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably the refrigerator, and is good until the expiration date printed on the label.

Feeding Guidelines: Feed 2 to 3 teaspoons per 4 ounces bodyweight daily, divided into 4 to 6 feedings. Feed formula in a bowl when puppies are able to lap. 

Nutritional supplement for dogs: Mix powdered formula into puppy or dog food. Supplement daily ration with 1 to 2 teaspoons formula per 5 lbs bodyweight. Recommended for lactating bitches, convalescing or underweight dogs as a weaning aid for puppies.
