Mrs. Smart Our squirrel uses this in his cage. He sleeps in it at night, with a blanket & whatever else he can hide in there. During the day, he’ll lay on top of it & watch outside for his bird friends. His cage can be open & he’ll still go in his hammock to sleep. It’s very well made, soft fabric & sturdy. I would REALLY like if they had different patterns or colors.

Carrie I have a handicapped squirrel and bought this hammock with hopes of encouraging him to climb a bit more. Well, after a few days and little creative cage redecorating... there he was, happy as pie in his HAMMOCK. He loves it so much and it is great to see him finally able to get up higher in his cage. He takes naps in it, nibbles on it, eats snacks in it, plays peek-a-boo from it, and even hangs from it (on purpose ... a big deal for our physically-challenged little guy!). We are looking forward to installing a second one. These hammocks are so well made. Buy two or more and make your squirrel happy!
