Description
Hazelnuts are one of the healthiest nuts for squirrels to snack on. They contain a good calcium/phosphorus ratio and their extra-hard shell helps keep squirrel’s teeth ground down. These 100% natural hazelnuts are a perfect healthy treat!
Perishable - Refrigerate on arrival!
Feeding and Storage Guidelines
Feed 2-3 nuts per week as a treat, preferably at the end of the day after the squirrel has eaten their Henry’s Blocks, veggies, and other healthy foods. Store nuts in the refrigerator for up to 6 months or in the freezer for up to a year.
I feed the wild squirrels. I filled the nut bar with half a bag of hazelnuts along with pecans and pecan bars. Less than 8 hours later the whole thing was empty. These guys love your nuts and obviously the hazelnuts are their favorite. Glad I found these. Thanks Henry!
