I foster kittens for the local Humane Society for the past 10 years. Fox Valley Formula is the best formula I have found. With some of the other formulas the kittens will get constipated. I usually mix in some probiotics by Fox Valley as well for healthy digestion.
Love this formula so much....kittens love the taste and thrive on it. Decided to try Fox Valley kitten formula after I used the Squirrel and Skunk formulas. All are really good quality formulas. Thank you.
Would definitely recommend this milk replacer!
I like this formula. I've only used KMR and Breeders Edge in the past. I had to start off this kitten on KMR because she was unexpected. I switched to fox valley because I'd heard good things. I feel this baby started pooping more regularly than kittens I had on KMR. It reminds me of breeders edge, but less expensive. And the SMELL! Love the smell of this formula and Breeders edge, it's like vanilla waffle cone. KMR smells like spoiled milk in a way.
This was packaged well and was delivered quickly. I would recommend this formula! I have my second bag on its way
I've fostered for many years and have used many different formulas. I stumbled on Fox Valley formulas when I had a baby squirrel and baby skunks. Loved the product. So, the next time I had newby kittens, I ordered the Day One Kitten formula. I'm hooked on this product. It mixes so smoothly, smells yummy, is creamy and rich, the kittens love it. I have 3 right now, they are thriving on it. Thank you for such a great product. It eases a foster mommas mind knowing the babies are on a superb formula.
This is the best product I have use for nursing kittens.
My foster kittens love this! Powder is fine and easy to scoop. Formula is easy to mix with no clumping and it has a pleasant smell.
Bought this on a whim when ordering other kitten nursing supplies. I'm currently bottle feeding a litter of 5 and finished the powder supply provided by the shelter of another popular brand. The kittens were becoming uninterested in the other brand and I thought it might be that they're ready for food. When I introduced Fox Valley they all eat it ravenously! I plan to continue using this product given the great results. I also like that when mixing it there are no clumps of powder remaining.
