Markings disappeared almost immediately other than that they work just fine

We’re sorry you were so disappointed with the syringes. As we note in the description, because non-toxic ink is used for the markings, they will wash off. You can extend the life of the markings on the syringes by avoiding excessive scrubbing and wrapping the barrel of the syringe with clear tape.
