*Henry's recommends using syringes when feeding newborn baby mammals. A syringe allows you to control the flow precisely, with less chance of aspiration. Large puppies and older kittens may do fine with a bottle. Never use a bottle with baby squirrels, flyers, rats or mice at any age. For help with a baby squirrel please see our Baby Squirrel Care Guide.
This was an expensive single feeding. My four week old foster kittens chewed through them immediately. These are not for tiny animals with teeth
These nipples help so much when feeding foster kittens from newborns - 4 weeks before they start on "gruel" . You can add them to the bottom of a leur lock syringe or even pull them through a typical kitten bottle. I highly recommend if you are fostering kittens to have these on hand.
Works great for newborn kittens. I have been bottle feeding kittens. for years and these are the best nipples. Can syringe feed newborn kitten initially and when stronger they will suck and empty the syringe on their own.
These are the best!!! I wish I would have found them years ago. Nothing compares. Babies usually latch right on. Makes for happy babies and mom.
I'm a Wildlife Rehabilitator and I can't tell you how many bunnies, squirrels, opossums, and even a woodchuck I've saved by using the Miracle Nipple. Neonates are almost impossible to feed with pet bottles, eyedroppers, or syringes but once I found this product all that changed. I've told all my fellow Rehabbers to be sure and buy this Miracle.
Get the minis. They can be attached to the end of a syringe and/or then moved to a regular kitten bottle. They really are a miracle.
No, seriously - these were a life saver, quite literally with the picky little 3 day old stray kitten that had been abandoned by momma - that I took in.
These made all the difference! He hated the nipples that come with the Kmr bottles, and these worked FANTASTIC.
Get them, you won't regret it!
My 8 week old kitten chewed on the nipple with it sideways in her mouth. I straightened it so it went directly into her mouth and she moved to make it sideways repeatedly. Worthless for what I wanted which was to let her suckle on something other than the inside of my elbow.
Best kitten nipples on the market. We use nothing else.
