MSRP: $189.00

Our cage supplier is permanently out of business due to the current COVID virus situation. A two-level Critter Nation cage is a good alternative. Please compare any cage to our specs below regarding overall size and especially bar spacing (no larger than 3/8 inch). Unfortunately, we do NOT expect to have this cage back in stock in future.

Other options:

Petco Flight Cage: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/aande-cage-company-flight-bird-cage-in-black

Or this:

PawHut Flight Cage on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/PawHut-Rolling-Flight-Extra-Large/dp/B01LFIPTSS/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=PawHut+54%E2%80%9D+Rolling+Flight+Cage+Extra+Large+Bird+House&qid=1599168101&s=pet-supplies&sr=1-1

We can’t endorse either cage, as we haven’t seen them in person, but they are about the right size and the bar spacing is reasonable.

Perfect Habitat for Squirrels, Flying Squirrels, Chipmunks, Ferrets, Sugar Gliders

Our squirrel Henry has this cage and he gives it two paws up! The bar spacing is excellent (3/8" vertical), perfect for squirrels, flying squirrels, chipmunks, sugar gliders and ferrets. The large front door allows easy access to the interior. There are also some smaller slide-up doors for easy access that can be secured with metal snaps or clips. There's a wire shelf with a ramp, and a slide-out bottom grate and plastic tray for easy cleaning. The lower shelf provides handy storage, and the cage rolls easily. The glossy finish makes cleaning a snap; just wipe with a damp cloth. Sturdy, roomy, and with better bar spacing than a Critter Nation-type cage. This is a quality rehabber-approved cage at a great price. Your cage will ship directly from the warehouse.

Great home for my lil babies

Posted by Heather Maxey on 5th Feb 2018

This cage is perfect for my duo I have right now. They have plenty of room to run around and lots of space to put in little hiding cubes and hammocks! Love this cage, and so do they!

    Excellent cage

Posted by Annemarie on 29th Jan 2018

We have an unexpected guest, a flyer who moved into our sofa one day and, when we put him out, came back. Repeatedly. So we bought this cage. He might as well be comfortable...and, you know, not in the sofa.

There's plenty of room for him to jump and climb. We got the house and he likes that too. Our only quibble was that it was a bit difficult to put together; instructions were bare-bones. But we figured it out.

Probably next he'll get a hamster ball so he can explore. And treats. Perhaps this is why he won't leave.

    Good but small issues

Posted by Unknown on 4th Dec 2017

Great size but a few of the bars are loose after 2 weeks. Does not allow for enough room so can get out but if it continues in succession it will. Otherwise, easy to clean slide out tray is great.

Henry's Response: Cage bars can occasionally work loose at the weld. The fix is easy. "J-B Weld" makes several products that come in a tube and dry quickly into a hard metallic substance that can also be sanded. Just put a dab on the broken weld, hold the bar in place with a clamp or clip, and the J-B Weld will harden into a new "weld" that will hold the bar in place permanently.

I purchased this for my pair of southern flying squirrels. Easy assembly and the flyers love it. Wire spacing is perfect and it gives them plenty of room to play. Love it

Fabulous Cage for the Fab Five!

Posted by Suzette on 23rd Feb 2017

Location, location, location. Now the perfect home. What more could these babies need? Once they were moving around better I put them into their home. It is so spacious (for 5) and squirrel friendly. Need to add some plastic ties to close the extra doors so no escaping. Enough room to add tree limbs to climb, Henry's house cube and Henry's boa. All of their activities and playtime make happy, strong, healthy babies. Easy to clean and looks beautiful in my house. Will be calling rehabber soon to start the process of releasing these babies. Good Luck Fab 5!!

    Great cage for rescue/rehab squirrel

Very pleased with this cage. It's a great size. You do have to make some modifications to prevent escape. I used small key chain rings to prevent the slide openings from being opened.

    This is a great cage

Posted by Rebecca R on 24th Jan 2017

This is a really great cage. It houses my two young squirrels with lots of room, and is very sturdy. I love all the doors, but you must buy some type of clip to keep the squirrels from opening them. I gave this cage 5 stars because I think this is the best cage I could have bought. But there is one thing I was not happy with. At the bottom of the cage the floor just slides in. Under that a tray also slides in. Beneath both is another floor (?) with very large spaces between the bars that hooks to the frame. If you have active squirrels like I do, and they rock the cage about when the play, the floor and the tray will slide out and the squirrels can jump through large spaces of the 2nd floor and they've out. If I put the cage together incorrectly, please let me know. Anyway, I secured the floors and tray with a bungee cord. And I still think this a great cage.
Henry's Response: Thank you for the review and we're glad your squirrels are enjoying the cage. If your squirrels are able to cause the bottom grate to move, we recommend using small clips, twist ties, or some thin metal wire to secure the bottom to the sides of the cage.
